Are we really post racial in literature?

Are we really post racial in literature? I wonders that because I read and review books of all ethnics but as a reviewers I am learning that some reviewers will not read and write a review on books that do not match their own ethic group. So this makes we wonder are we truly post racial in literature or make believing we are?

I received this from the author and it is a pretty good horror. It start out letting you know it's going to a horror story. So I won't deliver any spoilers.

I find it to be quiet interesting. It tells the story of a young boy seeking identity. Seeking his heritage. It one of the hidden gems. 

Ruby by Cynthnia Bonds

The story was well written and quite tragic. I found many scenes quite disturbing but they  were a product of their day and time.

Bitten

The book "Bitten" was made into a television series. I must say I watched every episode. But the book is better.
